Transport & Parking
The event shuttle buses for Ultra-Trail Australia are the easiest way to access the starts and event venue.
SHUTTLE BUSES
On Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday there will be a free event shuttle bus service to take runners, support crews and spectators between Katoomba town centre and Scenic World, and between the town of Leura and Scenic World.
Refer to the bus stops in the bus maps below.
- Katoomba Shuttle - It is a 10–15-minute* ride from opposite the Carrington Hotel to Scenic World. The Katoomba buses will be on a continuous loop during their operating times.
- Leura Shuttle - It is a 20–25-minute* ride from Fairmont Resort to Scenic World. The Leura buses will be a scheduled service within their operating times.
Note * these times are dependent on traffic and can be subject to delays.
Parking Options
A limited number of parking passes are available for pre-purchase until sold out. Parking will be available at the KCC Oval, adjacent to the trail village at Scenic World. Parking passes are available to purchase through your runner Participant Dashboard (please log in and select "Add Additional Purchases").

You will need your booking reference to log into your dashboard, you will find this in your Registration Confirmation Email. Once logged in, please select "Add Additional Purchases" under the merchandise section.
Parking on KCC oval from 11:59PM Sat – Midday Sunday is FREE. First come first served basis. Parking limited based on availability.

- Ingress for parking will be available via Cliff Drive from 7:00am – 12:00pm and 2:00pm - 8:00pm.
- Ingress for parking will be available via Violet St (travelling via Kamillaroi, Oak and Cedar St) from 12:00pm to 2:00pm.
- Please ensure you arrive for your parking during the times above and plan your departure accordingly
- Re-entry to the carpark will be allowed only for the day your parking purchase is valid
- NO overnight parking on KCC Oval Thursday night

- Ingress for parking will be available from 3:15am Friday
- Please ensure you arrive for your parking during the times above and plan your departure accordingly
- Re-entry to the carpark will be allowed only for the day your parking purchase is valid
- Overnight parking on KCC Oval Friday night is allowed for Miler 2-Day parking pass holders only

- Specific Ingress/Egress Information:
- Entry via Cliff Drive.
- Ingress for parking will be available from 3:30AM – 4:40AM and from 9:15am - Midnight
- Access to parking will be CLOSED from 4:40AM – 9:15AM in order to facilitate a safe start line and race experience for UTA50 and UTA100 runners.
- Ingress/Egress for parking will resume from 9:15AM at the completion of the UTA50/UTA100 race starts
- Re-entry to the carpark will be allowed only for the day your parking purchase is valid
